Playing Membership
West Cornwall Golf Club, the oldest Club in the County has a number of different playing membership types that fit in with the modern lifestyles people now have. The booking system allows Members to book times up to 2 weeks in advance online and see what else is happening on the course.

Adults can choose from being a Full Member, giving full access to the course and its facilities or Lifestyle membership which allow Members to choose the best time for them to play and fit golf into any busy lifestyle. Lifestyle membership operates on a credit-based system, where credits are purchased and used to then ‘pay’ for rounds taken on the course.

For those living outside Cornwall, we do offer a Country membership and if you are a member of another golf club in Cornwall, we do offer an affiliated membership giving you the chance to play 15 rounds at West Cornwall Golf Club each year at a reduced rate.

We have organised competitions for all sections of the Club, offering plenty for everyone to become involved with if that is what they are looking for.

Included with your membership is a Cornwall County Card, which gives you reduced rates at hundreds of clubs across the country. More information on this can be found on the Cornwall Golf Union website (www.cornwallgolfunion.org.uk)

You do not need to be introduced by anyone to become a Member and we welcome applications from all ages and handicap abilities, or those without a handicap. We would be happy to meet you at the Club to show you the facilities.

Social Membership

If you don’t play golf but would like to enjoy many of the advantages of using the Club, including priority for booking into social events, dining at the Club, booking a function at reduced rates, then why not become a Social Member.

We have many Members who enjoy visiting the Club with friends and family, taking advantage of the friendly atmosphere and the excellent catering and bar facilities on offer. An additional discount on food and drink is given to Members.

A superb 18-hole course with magnificent views, that is maintained in great condition and on main greens all year round, catering for all standard of players.

A course with a guaranteed water supply, with a bore hole, reservoir and new irrigation system.

A tee booking system that allows you to manage when you play and be certain of your ability of getting on to the course when you want to.

Competitions run all year round at weekends and midweek on a Wednesday.

Each section, Junior, Ladies and Seniors also running their own competitions throughout the year.

Eligibility for a Cornwall County Card giving reduced rate access to courses countrywide.

Discount on bar and food purchases.

An excellent Professional, offering a superb shop, golf lessons and a swing studio to enable custom fitting of equipment most suitable to you.

An official Handicap Index (Once 54 holes or more have been submitted) allowing you to play courses worldwide.
